Is this the Tom Metzger featured on the page 12, Oct. 23, 1990, edition of Times-Union?
Lead-in: Tom Metzger says verdict frees him to preach violence. Portland, Ore. A jury Monday found that Tom Metzger, a former Warsaw resident who is a former grand dragon of the Ku Klux Klan and his white aryan resistance, incited the slaying (of a black man from Ethiopian) by skinhead toughs.

Is this the same Tom Metzger who has constantly vilified Sen. John McCain's superb service to his country? The same Tom Metzger who faults, in outrageous terms, the government of the U.S.? The same Tom Metzger who criticizes the religious elements of our society? The same Tom Metzger who consistently lies about anything with which he disagrees?
Will Mr. Gunter continue to defend Mr. Metzger? If so, remember the old proverb, "If you sleep with dogs, you wake up with fleas."
