Ronald and Genevieve Metzger will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 7, 2013. Ronald and the former Genevieve Yant were married June 7, 1953, at Claypool EUB Church by the Rev. Wilbur Wilson. Ronald has been in the cattle and farming business, and Genevieve a bookkeeper and homemaker. They have two sons, Rod (and spouse Ann) and Blaine (and spouse Mary) Metzger; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. The couple will celebrate at a later time.
