Meth Lab Found In Syracuse, Couple Charged

SYRACUSE -ÊTwo Syracuse residents were arrested on drug-related charges Thursday afternoon when officers allegedly discovered an active methamphetamine laboratory on their property.

Tamara J. Coquillard, 41, and Samuel Coquillard, 43, both of 9952 N. American Way, Syracuse, were arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony. Samuel Coquillard also was charged with dealing in methamphetamine less than three grams, a Class B felony, as well as possession of two or more chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture meth, a Class D felony. The pair was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and they were held on $2,000 and $5,000 bond, respectively.

When officers arrived at 9952 N. American Way, Syracuse, they found an active meth lab in a detached garage at the residence.

Associates of the pair were identified during the investigation, and more arrests are expected.

The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Indiana State Police Lab Response Team and the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office.
