Two out-of-county men were arrested in Warsaw Tuesday on drug-related charges after a mobile meth lab was discovered.

At about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, an investigation led officers to Westhaven Estates at 3762 W. Old 30 in Warsaw, according to a news release from Warsaw Police. Items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine, including a mobile meth lab, were seen in plain view inside the vehicle.

Robert Alan Nelson Jr., 52, Elkhart, was charged with level III felony manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, corrupt business influence, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a $20,250 surety bond.

Ryan James McBride, 24, LaGrange, was charged with corrupt business influence, possession of precursors, theft and visiting a common nuisance. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a $10,250 surety bond.

The investigation also led to a juvenile male being detained in the St. Joseph County Juvenile Justice Center, pending further investigation, the release states.

Members of the Warsaw Narcotics Unit were assisted in the dismantling of the lab and clean-up efforts by the Indiana State Police and Winona Lake Police Department meth teams.

The Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Atwood fire departments were called to the scene as a precaution during the clean-up of chemicals.

Additional assistance was provided by Kosciusko County Juvenile Probation, Indiana Department of Child Services and Indiana State Parole.
