Mermaid Festival ParadeMembers of the North Webster American Legion Post 253 Color Guard led the parade Saturday in North Webster. It was the 73rd annual Mermaid Festival Parade, which this year featured nearly 70 entries and eight competing marching bands including Wawasee and Whitko. This year’s grand marshal was Shoop Sports and Youth Foundation Inc. and this year’s Person of the Year was Terrill Brown.
