Editor, Times-Union: All business before the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Merit Board has been conducted by Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine throughout the years in fairness and he has always followed the highest ethical standards. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Merit Board therefore stands behind Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine as he faces the charges that have been made against him. We hope that the citizens of Kosciusko County remember that Sheriff Rovenstine has not yet had the opportunity to confront his accusers and present his evidence to refute the charges, and that they will reserve their judgment until he has had the opportunity to do so.
