MENTONE – Mentone Fire Department is collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items to donate to Helping Hands. The firefighters have placed boxes to fill around town in local businesses for this purpose. Mentone Fire Department and Santa will deliver candy Sunday starting at 6 p.m. to anyone who has their porch lights on. The fire department is asking for help in the form of donations of non-perishable food items. Santa will be more than happy to pick up any non-perishable food item you would like to donate.
