Mentone Chamber Cuts Ribbon At New Consignment ShopMENTONE – Mentone Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Mama B's LLC, 601 S. Franklin St., Mentone, Friday.
Owner Brittany Hart said Mama B’s is located on the south side of H&H Diesel, which is owned by husband Daniel.
Hart said Mama B’s sells farmhouse, primitive, country home decor. There’s new items, as well as consignment items from the area.
For consignments, Hart said she only has a few consignments at this time. But to consign with her store, people would just bring in their items and she’d go through them and see if it’s something she could use since she wants to keep a country theme.
Hart said Mama B’s is open one weekend a month, the second weekend of every month. Mama B’s is open Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hart said she’d start with those hours and if more hours are needed, then she will add more open hours.
Previously, Mama B’s was office space. Currently, Hart has four offices in her business laid out with items. She hopes to keep expanding into the rest of the offices in her building.
“I just absolutely love this stuff, so I thought it would be something good for around here,” Hart said when asked what made her decide to open the business.
She said she hopes the business continues to grow and people enjoy it and the business can contribute to the town.
People who interested in contacting Hart can do so through Facebook page.
