NAPPANEE – Melvin H. Yoder, 63, of 613 2nd B Road, Nappanee, died at 9:38 a.m. Jan. 3, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 19, 1948, near Nappanee, to Henry J.S. and Annie Borkholder Yoder.
Surviving are three sisters: Katie H. Yoder, Nappanee; Mary (and spouse Perry N.) Bontrager, Millersburg; and Laura (and spouse Bill) McGinnis, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three brothers, Harley (and spouse Inez) Yoder, Penns Creek, Pa.; Elmer (and spouse Donna) Yoder, Elkhart; Marvin (and spouse Bertha) Yoder, Madison. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mervin Miller residence, 980 2nd B Road, with The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will be in Borkholder Cemetery.
Calling is after 3 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the Harvey Borkholder residence, 609 2nd B Road.
