NORTH MANCHESTER – Melody Kaye “Mel” May, 48, North Webster, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 26, 2015, in her parent’s residence.
She was born March 23, 1967, in Warsaw, to David W. “Dave” and Betty G. Tindall Berger.
She was a lifetime North Webster area resident and graduated in 1986 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She was formerly employed at R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw and worked at Bart’s Watersports in North Webster for 19 years.
She formerly attended the 1st Presbyterian Church in Warsaw and was a member of American Legion Post 253 Auxiliary in North Webster.
Survivors are: her daughter, Kayla Berger, a son, Joshua Rudd, and her parents, all of North Webster; two sisters, Lori (and spouse Matt) Brubaker, Warsaw; and Michele (and spouse Jerry) Fisher, North Webster; and a half-sister, Gina Bono, Boulder, Colo.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500W, North Webster, with Pastors Mike Beezley of Clunette United Methodist Church and John Bryan Lowe III of New Life Christian Church, Warsaw, officiating. Cremation will be at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
