Melissa Sue Cupp, 44, Pierceton, passed away at 7:33 p.m. April 25, 2014, at her residence. She was born Nov. 16, 1969, in Warsaw, to John and Bonnie Hamilton Prater. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She was a registered nurse, working in hospitals and nursing homes. Surviving are her parents, Warsaw; a son, Brandon Harley, Pierceton; three stepsons: Jeremy Harley, Tuscola, Ill.; Joseph and Alexander Harley, both of Warsaw; four brothers: Eric Prater, Centerville, Mo.; Peter Peconga, Warsaw; Adam Prater, Burket; Jonathan Prater, Philippines; and best friend and caretaker, Sharon McCarty, Pierceton.
