SYRACUSE - Melinda S. "Mindi" Allen, 47, of Milford, died at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 20, 2008, in her residence.
She was born Jan. 19, 1961, in Fort Wayne, to Paul Roger and Dorothy L. Danner Allen, who survive in Leesburg.
Living most of her life in the North Webster/Milford areas, she was a 1979 Wawasee High School graduate and attended Ivy Tech College, Warsaw. She was raised in the Lutheran Church and attended Warsaw Community Church. She worked at Zimmer Inc., Warsaw, for the past three years and formerly worked at Brock Manufacturing and Royal Crown, both in Milford.
Surviving are a daughter, Natasha (and spouse Aaron) Hoffman, Milford; and a sister, Lorell (and spouse Carl) Bevins, Warsaw.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. David Smitley officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
