MEDICARE NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that on April 9, 2009, the agreement between the Secretary of Health and Human Services and Otis R. Bowen Center for Human Services, Inc. at 1535 Provident Drive, Warsaw, Indiana, as a provider of psychiatric hospital services in the Medicare program, will be terminated. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has determined that Otis R. Bowen Center for Human Services is not in compliance with the following Medicare Conditions of Participation for Psychiatric Hospitals: Title 42 CFR 482.61 - Special Medical Records Requirements for Psychiatric Hospitals Title 42 CFR 482.62 - Special Staff Requirements for Psychiatric Hospitals The Medicare program will not make payment for inpatient hospital services furnished to patients admitted on or after April 9, 2009. For patients admitted prior to April 9, 2009, payment may continue to be made for up to 30 days of covered services furnished on or after April 9, 2009.
