INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The state Medical Licensing Board ruled this morning that a doctor who allegedly molested young female patients will not be able to practice for another year.
The board said Dr. Willard Hagenmeyer, who previously practiced medicine at the Convenience Clinic in Warsaw, did commit a violation of his doctor's license. Hagenmeyer was suspended for three years, two of which he already has served.
The board also placed probation terms on the doctor. If he begins practicing again next year, he cannot see young patients without parental consent, and he cannot see female patients without supervision.
State Attorney General Jeffrey Modisett had moved to revoke Hagenmeyer's license.
Hagenmeyer was convicted of child molesting based on complaints from four girls aged 13 to 16 who came to his office for sports physicals.
The conviction was overturned on appeal, and Hagenmeyer asked the board to restore his suspended license, prompting Modisett to act.
