Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Lakeview Middle School Principal David B. McGuire was named recently as the new assistant superintendent for Warsaw Community Schools.
He will replace Dr. Anthony Etienne, who will retire July 4.
The appointment was announced by superintendent Dr. Lee Harman Monday at the school board's special meeting on the school feasibility study.
McGuire, Harman said, also has been Atwood principal and was instrumental in creating the Alternative Learning Center. He is a Warsaw Community High School graduate, with a bachelor's degree from Manchester College, a master's degree from Saint Francis College and a doctorate from Ball State University.
"He brings a very diverse background to Warsaw Community Schools," Harman said.
No replacement for McGuire at Lakeview was mentioned.
