Sacred Heart School fifth-graders from Lee McGuire’s class surround their teacher with Principal James Faroh as Willie 103.5 Promotions Director Chris Cage presents her with the Teacher of the Week Award. Fifth-grade student Blake Bolland nominated his teacher for the honor. She accepted the award with heartfelt thanks. Cage states that students log on to their website and nominate their favorite teacher for Teacher of the Week. The program was started a few years ago. It is a way for children to get involved, and show their appreciation for their teachers. It is also a way for the radio station to highlight excellence in the classroom.
