Warsaw Mayor Ernie Wiggins' house on Meadow Lane was broken into Saturday afternoon.
Wiggins arrived home around 3:30 p.m. to find a patio window broken.
His wife observed water on the pool cover and under a chair beside the pool. According to police reports, someone may have been swimming in the pool right before the family returned home.
Nothing was reported missing from the residence.
Damage to the window was reported at $500.
Warsaw Police Department is investigating.
