Maxine Harris, 93, of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at Paddock Springs Senior Living, Warsaw.
Born on Jan. 21, 1928, in College Corner, Ohio, Maxine was the daughter of William and Grace Gilmore Earhart. She was united in marriage to Philip Judge Harris on July 30, 1950, in Liberty.
She enjoyed being a homemaker taking care of her family. Maxine enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, playing golf and was affiliated with Tri Kappa and Mothers Study Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warsaw.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Philip Harris, Warsaw; daughter, Diane (Thomas) Kail, Noblesville; son, Stephen P. (Carla) Harris, Warsaw; grandchildren: Kris (Angie) Kail, Scott (Jennifer) Kail, Jeff (Cassi) Kail and Kara Harris; great-grandchildren: Kameron, Annabelle, Carson, Avery, Betsy and Houston.
She was preceded in passing by brother, Keith Earhart; and sister, Carmen Miles.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
McHatton-Sadler funeral chapel is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
