LOUISVILLE, Ohio. – Maxine Elizabeth Cozy, 96, Louisville, passed away Nov. 21, 2014, at St. Joseph Care Center following a recent illness. She was born Oct. 3, 1918, in Canton, to James and Martha Lytle Marshall. She was married to James W. Cozy Sr., who preceded her in death in 2001. She enjoyed music, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. She is survived by her son, James (and spouse Carrie) Cozy, Ashtabula; two daughters, Linda (and spouse Ernie) Fritsch, South Bend, and Leah White, Warsaw; a brother, Tom (and spouse Judy) Cozy; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Cozy. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Parish Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. Larry Frient officiating, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. There will be no calling.
