NAPPANEE – Max L. Bigler, 88, Nappanee, died at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 21, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa. He was born July 12, 1927, in Nappanee, to Harry and Thelma Metzler Bigler. On May 28, 1949, he married Delores L. Roth, who died July 23, 2009. He was a United States Army veteran of World War I, serving in Germany for 1-1/2 years. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Brethren Church, Nappanee, with the Revs. Tom Schiefer and Bart Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery with military graveside services by the Nappanee American Legion. Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the funeral service Friday. ***** Memorials to First Brethren Church.
