Max A. Courtney II Graduates With Master's From Duke

DURHAM, N.C. – Max A. Courtney II graduated from Duke University, Durham, N.C., with a Masters of Health Sciences degree and a physician assistant certificate.
Courtney is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and Purdue University.
After passing the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam, he became a certified physician assistant and accepted a position on the Rapid Response and Stroke Team at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. Beaumont Hospital is a 1,070-bed tertiary hospital, complete with inpatient and outpatient services, and several other services including: Imaging Center, housing X-ray and other radiology testing, and the Comprehensive Breast Center; The Beaumont Cancer Center; Vascular Services Center; Research Institute; and The Beaumont Heart Center.
He lives with wife Julie King Courtney in Plymouth, Mich., and with their daughter, Rosanna Cai Yun.
Courtney’s parents are Max and Marty Courtney and he is the son-in-law of Barry and Ruth Ann King, all of Warsaw.
