AKRON – Maurice D. Lipply, 79, North Manchester, died at 7:14 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Feb. 24, 1939, in Silver Lake, to Ezra B. and Gertrude B. Doub Lipply. On June 9, 1957, in Wabash, he married Janet Crow. She survives.
He was named Most Outstanding Guernsey Dairy Farmer in the United States in 1973.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with calling one hour prior, in Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
