ARGOS – Maudie Hensley, 97, of Railroad Street, Argos, died at 9:56 a.m. June 15, 2013, in her residence. She was born June 11, 1916, in Seitz, Ky., to Brice and Dora Craft Patrick. On Dec. 25, 1933, in Kentucky, she married Willard Hensley, who died Feb. 18, 1985. Surviving are five daughters; five sons, including Paul (and spouse Joyce) Hensley and James (and spouse Patricia) Hensley, all of Tippecanoe; 39 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; 47 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ressie Elam, Hazelgreen, Ky. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, four brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Church of Jesus Christ, Argos, with the Rev. Dallas Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Bass Lake Cemetery. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
