MENTONE – Matthew Wallace Thompson, 41, Warsaw, passed unexpectedly June 11, 2016. He was born Sept. 18, 1974, in Bluffton, to Denny Thompson and Nancy Manrow Marsh. He enjoyed fishing and going to auto races. Surviving are his father, Denny (and spouse Doris) Thompson, Akron; his stepfather, Jerry Marsh, Florida; two sisters, Amy (and spouse Chad) Heckaman, Warsaw, and Heather Turner (and spouse David) Woodcock, McLean, Va.; a brother, Jason Thompson, Tsukuba, Japan; two stepbrothers, Jay and Jeremy Marsh; and three nephews, Justin, Austin and Coltin Brumfield.
