Matthew HammanSYRACUSE – Matthew Hamman, 27, of Nashville, Tenn., passed away on Feb. 8, 2023.
He was born on June 29, 1995, in Columbia City, to Gregory Hamman and Gina Kuhs. He graduated from Wawasee High School in 2014. Matt was a loving, kind, funny young man who had a passion for music.
He is survived by his parents, Gina (Jeffrey) Yoder, of Lakewood Ranch, Fla.; and Greg Hamman, of Leesburg; two sisters, RaeLynn (Miguel) Fuentes, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; and Kaitlin Yoder, of Huntington; maternal grandparents, David (Rita) Kuhs, of Skowhegan, Maine; paternal grandparents, Clifford (Ruth) Rider, of Leesburg; stepgrandfather, Vernon Yoder, of Syracuse. He is also survived by one niece, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a visitation Friday, Feb. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home.
