Robert and Lorraine Matson, Warsaw, marked their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 1. Robert Matson and Lorraine Dorris were married Feb. 1, 1948, in Chicago, Ill,. with the Rev. Herbert George officiating.
He retired from Zimmer, and she is a homemaker.
The couple have three children: Linda (and spouse Allen) Winslow, Spring Lake, Mich.; Robert (and spouse Pat) Matson Jr., Clermont, Fla.; and Sandra Matson, Warsaw. They have three grandchildren.
To celebrate the anniversary, a surprise party for the couple was held at Bogey's in Warsaw Jan. 26. It was hosted by their children and grandchildren.
