Massage Parlor Employees Face Prostitution Charges

A search warrant was served Friday on a local massage parlor, resulting in the arrest of two female employees on misdemeanor prostitution charges. Yili Liao, 28, and Li-Lan Chu, 41, both of 493 S. Circle Drive, Warsaw, were booked in the Kosciusko County Jail Friday evening on $450 bonds. Friday afternoon, investigators from the Warsaw Police Department and Indiana State Police served a search warrant at Ying Massage, 493 S. Circle Drive West, following several months of investigation into alleged criminal business practices, according to a press release from the WPD. The search warrant was issued for investigators to “diligently search for, and seize any items of evidence associated with the crimes related to corrupt business influence, evasion of tax, prostitution and promoting prostitution,” the release states. Following execution of the search warrant, Warsaw Police booked the two suspects into the Kosciusko County Jail on misdemeanor charges of prostitution. Additional arrests are probable, the release states. The investigation is on-going and additional information may be released as it becomes available. Warsaw Police are being assisted in their investigation by the Internal Revenue Service, Indiana State Police and the Fort Wayne Police Department.
