SYRACUSE – Mary Stalter, 89, of Warsaw, and formerly of North Webster, passed away Aug. 24, 2012, in Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw.
She was born March 29, 1924, in Bloomfield, to Frank and Flora Williams Hayes. On April 25, 1944, she married Gaylord Stalter, who died in 1985.
She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Stalter, North Webster; two sons, Dennis (and spouse Peggy) Stalter, Bloomington, and Richard (and spouse Cheryl) Stalter, Larwill; five grandchildren: Todd, Jenn, Chad, Stacy and Grant; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Grace Stalcup, Angola; and a brother, Warren Hayes, Plainville. She also was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Wilmot.
