NORTH WEBSTER – Mary Louise Ridenour, 99, of Warsaw, and formerly of Wabash, died at 6:25 a.m. Sept. 12, 2012, at Gardens of Lake City, Warsaw.
She was born Dec. 31, 1912, in Marion, to Herbert and Georgiana Kerlin Knox. On Jan. 24, 1932, in Wabash, she married Donald “Don” Ridenour, who died in 1983.
She graduated in 1930 from Marion High School. She was a homemaker, a farmer’s wife and formerly worked as a secretary at Southwood High School. She lived most of her life in Wabash until five years ago when she moved to the Warsaw area. She was a member of Wabash Friends Church.
Surviving are three grandchildren, including Steve (and spouse Jeannie) Ross and DeAnn (and spouse Don) Osborne, all of Leesburg; nine great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters and a sister.
Private graveside services will be at Friends Cemetery, Wabash, with the Rev. Dave Phillips officiating.
