NAPPANEE - Mary Lou Hochstetler, 73, of 72963 CR 9, Nappanee, died at 6:45 p.m. March 23, 2007, in her residence.
She was born July 21, 1933, in Nappanee, to Charles A. and Roberta Wysong Reprogle. She married George Hochstetler, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker, a dental assistant to Dr. Lentz and co-owned Pet Junction, both in Nappanee. She had served as secretary at Nappanee Raceway, among many other duties.
Also surviving are three sons, Perry Tyler, Noblesville; Jerry Hochstetler, Syracuse; and Melvin Hochstetler, Bremen; four daughters: Mrs. Steve (Kitty) Pippenger, Leesburg; Mrs. Larry (G. Lynn) Knight, Richmond; Jeanie Hochstetler, Milford; and Christine Snyder, Nappanee; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her mother, Roberta Reprogle, Nappanee; and a brother, Richard Reprogle, Kokomo. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son and a sister.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Paul Stauffer officiating. A private graveside service will be at a later date.
