PORTLAND, Texas – Mary Lou Frank Loidl, of Portland, Texas, and formerly of Warsaw, died Sept. 23, 2012.
She was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Elwood, to John and Mollie Frank. In 1959, she married Alfred George Loidl, who died in June 2011.
She was graduate of Ball State University. She was a teacher for Warsaw Community Schools, and she and her husband co-owned a hardware and toy store in Anderson. Moving to Portland in 1983, she worked at Taft High School as their guidance counselor. In 1995, she became one of three counselors at Gregory-Portland High School. Later she worked at Incarnate Word Academy.
Surviving is an adopted daughter, Jennifer.
Services and burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood. There will also be a  memorial service in Portland, Texas.
