GOSHEN - Mary L. Coy, 62, of 67224 U.S. 33E, Goshen, died at 3:01 a.m. Sept. 19, 2009, in Our Lady of Peace Hospital.

She was born Nov. 25, 1946, in Fort Wayne, to Marion and Bonita Brubaker Collier. On May 6, 1989, in Goshen, she married Richard Coy, who died Aug. 27, 1993.

She formerly lived in Pierceton and graduated from Pierceton High School in 1964. She was an assembly worker at KMC Controls, New Paris, since 1989, and formerly worked at Precision Plastics, Columbia City, for 18 years. She was a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ, Goshen; Eagles 1906, Columbia City; Widowed Persons Service, Elkhart County; and Red Hat Society.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (and spouse Joe) Sharp, Roseau, Minn., and Melody Hartman, New Paris; two stepsons, Tom Coy, Millersburg, and Ron Coy, Florida; four grandchildren; her mother, Bonita Collier, Pierceton; two sisters, Carolyn (and spouse Don) Boggs and Luann (and spouse Brad) Dunlap, all of Larwill; and a brother, Robert (and spouse Sheila) Collier, Larwill. She was preceded in death by a sister.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with the Rev. John von Lackum officiating. After cremation, the cremains will be buried at a later date in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
