CULVER — Mary Jean Sherrill, 76, Argos, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, in Plymouth, with her family by her side,
Mary was born Oct. 16, 1941, in Plymouth. She was one of three children born to Walter and Velva Wolfe Funk. She worked for more than 10 years as an inspector in the artificial knee department of Biomet in Warsaw.
Mary loved to spend as much time as possible with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping and traveling around the country.
Mary is survived by her son, Wayne Sherrill, Warsaw; grandkids: Shannan (David) Stark, Danielle (Brian) Beam and Matthew (Chelsea) Siegel, all of Argos; great-grandkids: Chris (Charity) Stark, Jennifer (Adam) Fish, Jason Dady, Serena Beam, Damon Young, and Zachary and Zander Vladiff; and great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Fish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Julia McCarty and brother Dexter Funk.
There will be a time to gather with the family to share and enjoy memories and celebrate Mary’s life at Odom Funeral Home, Culver, from 1 to 4 pm. Sunday, Dec. 3.
There will be no service.
