BEVERLY HILLS, Fla,. - Mary Jane Martin, 80, of Beverly Hills, Fla., died March 10, 2010.
She was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Warsaw, to Otho L. and Charlotte E. Smith Piper. She married Arthur Jack Martin, who preceded her in death.
She was a retired secretary with International Harvester and ITT in Indiana before moving from Fort Wayne to Beverly Hill 12 years ago. She was of the Protestant faith. She was an avid tennis player and a member of Pine Ridge Tennis Club. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Citrus County.
Surviving are a brother, Richard O. (and spouse Donna) Piper, Warsaw; four nieces; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Jean Piper and Peggy Lee Frush.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills, Fla.
