Mary J. Freeman, 85, of 2214 Sally St., Warsaw, died at 6:25 a.m. Feb. 9, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Burket, to William and Golda Brooks Brown. On March 18, 1939, she married Victor Freeman, who died in 1998.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a homemaker and a member of Moose, American Legion and Eagles auxiliaries.
Surviving are three daughters: Barbara Ringer, Indianapolis; Patsy Weirick, Warsaw; and Nancy Danusis, North Webster; a brother, Don Brown, South Whitley; a sister, Evelyn Scott, Warsaw; three grandchildren: Kim Ann Ringer Harley, Hawesville, Ky.; Jodi Weirick Thompson, Noblesville; and Christina Danusis Thiel, Alpharetta, Ga.; eight great-grandchildren: Brandon and Nick Harley, Kristopher and Allen Collins, Channing and Lachlyn Thompson and Wyatt and Zander Thiel; and three great-great-grandchildren, Clay and twins Jacob and Nathan Harley. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Paul Tinkel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
