Mary Francis Christian, 90, Clunette, passed away at 11:25 a.m. March 14, 2014, at her residence. She was married to Nobel Christian, who preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Raymond (and spouse Susan) Christian, North Judson; two daughters, Mary Lou Kiser, Leesburg, and Verla Harten, Warsaw; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Colie McCool, Pierceton; two sisters, O’Dell Herron, Warsaw, and Lucy Howard, Alabama; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, one great-granddaughter and eight half-brothers and sisters. Her husband, Nobel Christian, her parents, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, eight half-brothers and sisters, precedes Mrs. Christian in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, Vernon, Ala. Burial is in Liberty Freewill Baptist Cemetery, Vernon. Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the services.
