AKRON – Mary Frances Wood, 81, Akron, died at 11:06 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at Wynnfield Crossing, Rochester.
She was born Aug. 5, 1938, in Wabash, to the late Elwood W. "Slim" and Bernice J. Walker Arthur. She was married on Sept. 2, 1959, in Akron, to Richard A. Wood, who preceded on Jan. 15, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 22 in the Akron Church of God, Akron, with Pastor Kathy Nelson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Akron Cemetery. Memorial visitation hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 22 at the Akron Church of God.
Arrangements are entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
