Mary Frances Noble, 88, of Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at 12:52 p.m. in her residence. She was born December 14, 1928 in Claypool to Merl Royse and Blanche Irene (Harper) Engle.
She was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident. On April 17, 1949, she was united in marriage to Aubrey Wayne Noble in Winona Lake. She was a former Clerk for the Kosciusko County Superior and Circuit Court systems from 1962 to 1986 for a total of 24 years. She was also a former employee of Bodkin Abstract Company, Warsaw.
For most all of her life, Frances was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw. She sang in the church choir and was an active member who served on various boards at the church. In addition, she was a lifetime member of the sorority Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her Son; Randall (spouse Sandra) Noble, Warsaw, two brothers, Max L. (spouse Barbara) Engle, Warsaw, and Royse M. (spouse Earline) Engle, Winona Lake; a sister, Nancy Kleeman, Warsaw; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a son-in-law, Reg Whetstone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Wayne Noble, a daughter, Susan Whetstone, two sisters, Mearlene Kassebaum and Ruth M. Seiffert, a brother, Eugene Engle.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at 11a.m. in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Pastor Ernie Troxell of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
