BRADENTON, Fla. - Mary Ethlyn Morris, 83, Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Silver Lake and Warsaw, died Nov. 21, 2008, with her family by her side in her residence at the home of her daughter, Sue Holland.
She was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Rochester, to Guy R. and Elsie Ruth Cummings Hindel. On July, 28, 1951, in Madison, Ind., she married Robert O. Morris.
She worked for most of her life in the restaurant industry. She always had a smile for patrons of Rozella Golf Course, The Steer Inn and Warsaw Elks. Her life was dedicated to serving Christ and giving her best efforts to others. Her dedication to work and serving was evident to everyone who came in contact with her. She loved visiting with friends, playing cards, reading and bird watching.
She is survived by four sons: David (and spouse Janet) Simpson, Silver Lake; John (and spouse Carolyn Leiter) Morris, Warsaw; Robert T. (and spouse Annalynn) Morris, Brementon, Wash.; and Stanley (and spouse Paulette) Morris, Carolton, Ga.; two daughters, Marcia (and spouse Charles) Boyd, Sarasota, Fla., and Sue (and spouse Tony) Holland, Bradenton; and 32 grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Warsaw.
