Mary Elizabeth Stouder, 85, of 1845 Springhill Road, Warsaw, passed away March 9, 2011, in Health Park Medical Center, Fort Myers, Fla.

She was born May 31, 1925, in Pierceton, to Royce and Bonnie Kissinger Galbreath. On April 20, 1946, she married Wallace E. Stouder, who died May 6, 2003.

A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she was co-founder of Penguin Point Franchise Systems and served in various roles culminating in her current responsibility as chairman of the board of directors. She was a graduate of Pierceton High School and a member of First United Methodist Church of Warsaw since cradle roll in 1925. She was an associate member of Beach United Methodist, Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; a member of the United Methodist Women, Wabash; Red Hat Society; Arti's Club, Wabash. since 1950; Altrusa International since 1972; Charlie's Angels Bridge Club, Warsaw; Warsaw Ramada Bridge Club; Duplicate Bridge Club; Warsaw Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association; Warsaw Lunch Bunch; Fort Myers Beach Women's Club; and Tuesday Dramatics Club. She was a former member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a former officer of the International Federation Club for Women. She served as president of many of these clubs and organizations over the years.

She will be lovingly remembered by three sons: Wes (and spouse Martha) Stouder and Randy (and spouse Jane) Stouder, all of Warsaw, and Stan (and spouse Colleen) Stouder, Fort Myers Beach, Fla.); a daughter, Stephanie (and spouse Kim) Horn, Eustis, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard (and spouse Nan) Galbreath, Sebring, Fla. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw, with Pastors Toni Carmer and John B. Lowe officiating.

Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
