Mary E. WilsonMIDDLETOWN – Mary E. Wilson, 54, Pendleton, passed away July 19, 2016, at Community Hospital North after fighting a short, but courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 22, 1961, in North Webster, to David and Barbara Edwards. For 30 years, she was married to Greg, who survives. She graduated from Anderson High School. She attended Purdue University, where she was a graduate of the 1984 class. She received a degree in business and a minor in marketing. She was an amazingly patient and loving mother. She treasured her role as a wife, caregiver and best friend to Greg. She touched the lives of many and instilled love, respect, and kindness in all of her children that she watched over the past 10 years. She valued family above everything else. She was a gardener, soccer mom, and she loved creating gifts to share with those she loved. She enjoyed vacationing with her family at her parent’s home on Lake Webster and Gulf Shores, Ala. Also surviving are two children, Sarah (and Nick Cox), Pendleton, and Josh (and fiance Janae Matzat), Fortville; a sister, Joyce (and spouse Steve) Staub, Fishers; in-laws, Jim and Glenda Wilson, Pendleton; a sister-in-law, Robin (and spouse Andy) Klise, Pendleton; and several loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Edwards. A celebration of life was July 23 at Ballard & Sons, Middletown.
