NAPPANEE – Mary E. Stutzman Borntrager, 76, of Nappanee, died  at 1 a.m. Sept. 4, 2013, at her residence.
 She was born July 26, 1937 to Edward and Elizabeth Yoder Stutzman.  On Oct. 2, 1958, she married Toby R. Borntrager, who survives.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are nine daughters: Barbara Ann (and spouse Dan) Borntrager, Goshen; Bettie (and spouse Wilbur) Troyer, Fannie Mae (and spouse Daniel Jr.) Borntrager, Ida (and spouse Aaron Jay) Miller, Susan (and spouse Amos Jr.) Borntrager, Edna Ellen (and spouse Marion) Beechy, all of Etna Green; Martha (and spouse LaVern) Yoder, and Esther Irene Borntrager, all of Nappanee; Nettie (and spouse Harley) Schwartz, Akron; 47 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five sisters: Amelia (and spouse Enos) Yoder, and Esther (and spouse Henry) Kauffman, all of Clarissa, Minn.; Barbara (and spouse Henry) Yoder, Granger, Minn.; Rachel (and spouse Vernon) Mullett, Waupaca, Wis.; and Mattie (and spouse Menno) Kauffman, Granton, Wis.; and six brothers: Dan (and Anna) Stutzman, Milton, Iowa; Jerry (and spouse Emma) Stutzman, Independence, Iowa; John (and spouse Mary) Stuzman, Granton, Wis.; Perry (and spouse Mary) Stutzman, Delhi, Iowa; Chester (and spouse Sara) Stutzman, Cornell, Wis.; and David (and spouse Mary) Stutzman, Marlotte, Mich. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Devon Schwartz  residence, 8099 N. CR 800W, Etna Green, with   Bishop Marlin Slabaugh and the Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will be in Graber Cemetery.  
Calling will be after 1 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the Aaron Jay Miller residence, 7717 N. CR  800W, Etna Green.
