Mary E. Schang, 84, of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, passed away at 11:15 a.m. June 17, 2013, at Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake. She was born March 2, 1929, in North Liberty, to Albert Clell and Leona Fern Arnold Schrader. On Dec. 17, 1955, she married Clifton E. Schang, who preceded in death in June 1997. She was a secretary at Clausing, Warsaw, R.R. Donnelley and Sons, Warsaw, and Bendix Products Division, South Bend. She was a resident of Kosciusko County since 1968, where she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego; Purdue Extension Homemaker’s Club; and Thursday Night Ladies Bowling. Surviving are two sons, Eric (and spouse Dottie) Schang, Leesburg, and Craig Schang, Uintah, Utah; four grandchildren: Colton, Cameron, Cierra and Kyle; a great-grandchild, Zeb; and two brothers, Claude (and spouse Barbara) Schrader, North Carolina, and Wayne (and spouse Florence) Schrader, Bremen. She also was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter-in-law, Shirley Schang. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, officiated by Pastors Kirk Barger and Greg Harden. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
