ROCHESTER – Mary Charlotte Smith, 82, formerly of Rochester, South Bend and Bremen, died at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Peabody Retirement Community of North Manchester.
She was born May 14, 1936, in Rochester, to John Norman and Mary Launer Hiatt. She was married to Daniel Douglas Smith on Dec. 20, 1960. He survives.
A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, with calling two hours prior, in the chapel at Peabody Retirement Community.
Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
