Mary Bette Clevenger, 89, of Winona Lake, died at 8:09 p.m. April 16, 2012, in Grace Village Healthcare Center.
She was born July 18, 1922, in Rochester, to Elzie and Myra Moon Blackburn. She married Homer M. Clevenger in Wabash. He died in 1991.
Living most of her life in the Wabash area, she moved to Warsaw in 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, Warsaw; Order of the Eastern Star, Wabash; the Wabash Women’s Legion Auxillary; and the Wabash Moose Lodge.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (and spouse Jeanne) Clevenger, Warsaw, and Mike (and spouse Barb) Clevenger, Tarrytown, N.Y.; a brother, Bob Blackburn, Wabash; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will be at The Falls Cemetery, Wabash.
