Mary Ann Plummer, age 75, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019, at 1:57 p.m. in her residence.
She was born on July 30, 1944, to Jesse L. and Maude Ohlwine Rollins in Churubusco, Ind. She was united in marriage on Oct. 13, 1994, to Tex Plummer, in Warsaw.
Mary graduated from Churubusco High School. She worked for Bertsch Vending Co. as well as Aunt Millie’s Bread Store, retiring in 2008. She was a member of the V.F.W., Warsaw American Legion, Pierceton Legion Auxiliary and a supporter of the Animal Welfare League.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Tex Plummer; children, Beth Cochran, Amanda Akers, Sherman (Kristina) Cochran, Dawn (Leroy) Ditton, all of Warsaw; and Brent (Renee) Cochran, of Hebron, Ind.; siblings: Vivian Ingram, of Tucson, Ariz.; Karen Richey, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Roger Rollins, of Warsaw; Kenny Rollins, of Fort Wayne; and Irene Flick, of Lebanon, Ohio. In addition, Mary is survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son, Christopher Cochran; and siblings, Jesse Rollins and Nancy Strickland.
A visitation is scheduled on Monday, Aug. 19 from 2 to 5 p.m. in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be held immediately following at 5 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Pastor Mike Beezley will officiate the service, and interment will be private.
