Mary A. Hyde, 79, Warsaw, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Dec. 15, 2015, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. She was born Aug. 3, 1936, in Fort Wayne, to Leo and Irene Lantz Guiff. On Jan. 23, 1960, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, she was united in marriage to Ralph E. Hyde, who passed away Oct. 31, 2015. She graduated from Central Catholic in 1954. She worked for GC Murphy and General Telephone Company. Surviving are three children: R. Patrick (and spouse Shirley) Hyde, Warsaw; Elizabeth (and spouse George) Hyde and Daniel (and spouse Jayne) Hyde, all of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice and Rose Guiff. There will be a private celebration of Mary’s life at a later date.
