Mary A. Hani, 86, of Warsaw, died at 6:45 a.m. Feb. 10, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Burket, to Homer LeRoy and Betsy L. O’Hara Clark. On June 1, 1946, in Warsaw, she married Carroll “Chick” Hani, who died No. 22, 1985.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a  1945 graduate of Warsaw High School and was a secretary at Dirck Manufacturing for 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of First Christian Church and American Legion Auxiliary and a longtime member of Warsaw Squares. She was the glue that held the neighborhood together with her garage being the neighborhood meeting place. She loved her family and especially enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was a die-hard I.U. fan.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra (and spouse William) Mann, Warsaw; a son, Greg Hani (and Allain Hankey) Hani, Austin, Texas; two grandchildren,  Bethany (and spouse Michael) Stutzman and Cody Mann, both of Mentone; and three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Haley and Carter. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Clark, and three sisters, Zazel Dirck, Helen Ewert and Jean Sisk.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Gary Boschain of First Christian Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
