ROCHESTER – Marvin Wayne Holloway, 83, Rochester, died at 5:10 p.m. Jan. 18, 2016, in his residence.
He was born May 28, 1932, in Rochester, to Elvin “Peck” and Eva Ruth Bechtel Holloway. On May 17, 1952, in Rochester, he married Mary Ellen Foster, who died June 18, 2000.
He served in the U.S. Army, entering on July 17, 1953, and was honorably discharged July 12, 1955. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Ribbon and Sharpshooter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Bishop William Tincher officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Fulton County Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Citizens Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
