Born in Laketon, on March 30, 1948, Marvin was the son of the late S. Willis and Lelia E. Baker Blocher.
On Jan. 30, 1973, Marvin married Taphanie “Taphie” Custer.
Family and friends may call Thursday, May 6 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services will be Friday, May 7 at 11 a.m. with calling beginning at 10 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, with Pastor Jeff Sumner officiating. Entombment will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
The family of Marvin E. Blocher has entrusted McKee Mortuary with final arrangements.
